“Paralipomeni” in Italian means “what has been left out”. So, we can say that a work called “paralipomeni” is what continues or complements previous works.

   Considering that Photography is a matter of Time, in my photographic research the great charm of the word “paralipomeni” – from the point of view of content – is that past-time and future-time lose their chronological order. The photographs that have been omitted (forgotten?, not recognised?, purposely left aside?), in fact, become not the harbinger of what would have happened then, but rather its continuation, its development, despite coming from a time already ended. As if the old works had to wait to be validated by later professional experiences.
   This section is set as a work in progress, since I retrace past tales, the Paralipomeni of what will come next.

“Paralipomeni” è ciò che è stato omesso, tralasciato. E’ un lavoro che costituisce la continuazione o l'integrazione di un'opera precedente. 

   Attribuendola al lavoro fotografico, significa che tempo passato e tempo futuro si confondono. Le fotografie che sono state omesse (dimenticate? per qualche ragione ignorate?) diventano non il prodromo di ciò che è poi stato, ma la sua continuazione, lo sviluppo, pur provenendo da un tempo già finito. Come se i vecchi lavori avessero dovuto attendere di essere avvalorati dalle esperienze professionali successive.

   Questa sezione è impostata come un lavoro in corso, mano a mano che ricostruisco le narrazioni passate, Paralipomeni di ciò che è poi seguito.
